News from the studio of
Air Borne Creations
Winter isn't leaving without a fight but before you know it Spring will be showing her colors.
Now is the time to plan your outdoor projects while you're still cooped up indoors.
I have been spending the month of March regrouping and settling into the Farmington Valley Arts Center where I have been accepted into the Artist in Residency program. It supplies me with a great studio space in a strong community of artists.
I continue moving forward with my garden themed works. Butterflies, lillypads, hummingbirds and flowers everywhere and on some unexpectded surfaces. I have some small furniture pieces in the works as well as plans for garden signs, painted pots, mailboxes and small canvases to brighten up your home and office space.
I will also be introducing my garden photography this year and offering custom photography and paintings from your very own garden paradise.
Contact me for details.
If you are planning a
wedding,
congratulations!
I can create a custom painted watercolor from your boquet that may be printed onto your invitations, place cards and thank you notes.
Looking back at the past year it has not been without it's challenges. Downsizing my studio space, half of which was in an unheated room, was an adjustment to say the least.
Being accepted as a resident artist at the Farmington Valley Art Center has been a welcome change and I have been very productive there.
I am sorting out a schedule for demos, open studios and, of course it is that time of year again for the annual "Love of Felines" with a raffle, coloring contest and a few other goodies... details to come soon.
