Refinishing statuary should be a requirement! There are so many treasures out there, battling the elements in our gardens, on our porches, sitting quietly in the splendor. Yet when their beauty fades, do we love them less? They becomes unsightly and unfortunately many folks will just dispose of them. PLEASE, I beg you to take a second look! Concrete, cast aluminum, iron garden decor is becoming a thing of the past, being replaced with resin staues that will crack and discolor in a very short time. Metal ornaments and chimes that rust into jagged poisonous beasts... as a professional gardener, they were the worst, always keeping me up to date on my tetanous shots. They still have plenty of life, though. It saddens me to see so much filling the landfill. Especially all that plastic resin stuff. It can ALL be refinished and I'm here to help. I've had a number of very old and extremely loved pieces come through my studio. Mr Fox was in pretty rough shape with cracks and chips in his concrete, faded paint and a good deal of "character" having spent years on a rooftop garden in the elements. His owners absolutely ADORE him and he is very old. With a lot of TLC, he went home to carry on his daily dose of garden Joy. Face it, you bought that peice because you loved it. We all age but are of no less value. I can fix it.
